Farm or Apron Sinks

This style of sink has gained popularity over the past several years. Farm sinks offer a wide range of options for installation in the countertop. Of course, with more options come more decisions. Keep in mind the following considerations when using farm sinks:

• The distance the sink will protrude from the cabinet drawer and door faces
• The relationship between the front of the sink and front of the countertop
• How the countertop follows the curvature of the sink
• The amount of reveal on the top of the sink
• Whether the countertop edge profile should be extended around the sink cut-out
